Samantha did pretty well overall. There were a couple of concerns at the end. The major one being that air had entered the system. They think they got it flushed out in time, but we're watching carefully for any seizures or signs of a stroke. So far she is looking great so they think she'll be fine. The other thing is that her body is having some trouble adjusting to the new flow and if she gets agitated her blood flow is poor. So they are keeping her calm and letting her take her time waking up.
So we are now on the road to recovery. We may have to let her take her time, but she seems like she'll do well.

How scary! I am sure as a mom it is tough to watch knowing you can't do much to help calm her. Upset healthy babies are hard enough.
