Proverbs 3:5-7
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Faith is complete trust in the Lord. Because he is perfect, we can trust in him absolutely, with all our hearts. He does not lie. His plan is perfect. He knows each of us and what we need. He knows better than we do so we can trust in him more than our own reasoning or understanding. As we do this, and look to him, he will lead us in the ways we should go. By so doing we will find happiness and gain eternal life with our families.
