"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with asurety bhope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, whichchope cometh of dfaith, maketh an eanchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding infgood works, being led to gglorify God."

I love this scripture. It points out that our belief and faith can give us hope. This hope is an anchor to our souls. What a great idea. The anchor helps hold us where we want to be. It prevents us from drifting to and fro with the waves. Especially in the turbulent times in which we live, and the anchor or hope is such a comfort. It allows us to be "sure" or true.
