34 Weeks & Our Cute Kiddos

We had another ultrasound yesterday.  Sarah and Samantha look great!  They are growing well.  Sarah is estimated to weigh 5 lb.9 oz., which is the 77th percentile and Samantha they estimate to be at 4 lb. 13 oz. which is the 48th percentile.  It's good to see them and hear that they are well.  We will see the cardiologist, Dr. Adams on Friday to see how Samantha's heart is doing.  Of course, I am anxious to see.

Junior and Carolyn continue to do well.  Junior is doing well at school.  He loves it.  He writes Eric and Junior and is anxious to learn to write more.  He is so enthusiastic.  He can also be very sensitive and emotional.  He knows a little of what is going on with Samantha and I am trying to help him understand in a basic way so that he isn't to surprised or upset when she is born and will need extra care.  We recently found out that children (actually anyone under 18) are not allowed in the NICU during the winter months.  So Junior and Carolyn will have to wait a little longer to meet the babies.

Carolyn is my sweet, stubborn little girl.  She knows what she wants and can be very willful.  I am learning so much about myself as I learn how to raise my beautiful children.  What a glorious blessing it is to raise these children of God.

As Christmas approaches we do well to remember the love of our Heavenly Father that he sent his beloved Son, Jesus Christ to the Earth.  What a wonderful gift!  What will our gifts be to him?
